8 Months Old!
Here is our "big" guy! Jacob has gotten so big. We have not had a baby that was a bit bigger then his actual age, and so these clothes we thought would fit him better in the winter, we actually had to put on him on a cooler day in the summer. Now we can say he did wear it once. Jacob has gotten to a fun age. He is rolling all over the floor and I am sure it won't be too long before he figures out the crawling thing.
You would never guess he was premie, huh?
New Suit!
Caleb inherited a very nice suit from some friends! He was so excited to have something to wear that matches his Dad. Caleb told me that he was going to pretend to have meetings, like his Dad, so that he could have an excuse to wear the suit. It is nice to see him excited about it. I wonder how long that will last?
Pigtails!
Love the pigtails! Hannah usually does not allow me to do anything with her hair. However, she loved the bows and I convinced her that it would be so fun to put them in her hair. It is still only a rare occasion that I get the chance to do this. Her curls aren't as curly as they used to be. Warren and I decided that when she turns 3 we should probably get her hair trimmed. It will be a sad day. I love her little ringlets.
Conference Weekend!
Ah... isn't it fun to try and listen to conference while kids are cranky and fighting with each other? Well, despite all of this I actually enjoyed listening to what I did get to hear. It is amazing that there were five more temples announced. The work of the Lord doesn't stop. I also had the great opportunity of having the spirit confirm to me today that President Monson is indeed the chosen Prophet for our time.
In our economy the way it is today, the speakers powered me with a renewed sense of hope and faith that if we follow the plan the Lord has given us, then we will be taken care of. What I mean by taken care of is, that I know that whatever happens to us will be for the better good.
Anyway, all things considered, the kids did allow for us to listen to most of conference. Caleb and Hannah tried to play quietly. Jacob, didn't want to take a nap, but did alright. Alas, he is finally asleep. Thank you to Warren.
