Nathan's Blessing Day

On April 16th, Nathan Warren Hull was given a name and a blessing by his wonderful Father, Warren.  This took place in our home and was such a great experience. All but Caleb have been blessed at home and I have to admit, I love it.  We are so grateful for family and friends that participated with us. Somehow in the transfer of the photos from my camera to iphoto, the group pictures were deleted. I am so bummed. It was a lot of work to get everyone together. In the circle for the blessing included: Great Grandpa Smith, Grandpa Smith, Uncle Ken, Uncle Dennis, Uncle Jeff, Uncle Richard, Uncle Matt, Bishop Bakow, and of course Warren Hull.

Warren enlists in the Air National Guard

It is official, as of April 8, 2011 Warren is officially a member of the Idaho Air National Guard. Not sure when he will "get" to go to basic training, but we hope it will be this summer. This is something Warren has thought about for years. In past years, Warren had played around with the idea of applying for the FBI and other agencies. We both knew he wouldn't be happy with a job change. He absolutely loves teaching and is in it for the right reasons (to make a difference in the life of at least one child). His passion is to continue in the education field. However, there has always been a pull to do something to serve this country as well. It wasn't until last year that he seriously considered the National Guard. I am partial to the Air Force and told him I support him as long as it was Air related. Thus the pursuit of the Air National Guard. So here we are awaiting his opportunity to be put through some rigorous training.
