Nathan Warren Hull

Even though we had hoped we wouldn't have another January birthday, Nathan Warren Hull decided to join our family on January 31st 2011. He weighed 5 lbs 8 oz and was 19 inches. Like his older brother, Jacob, Nathan decided to enter this world a little early (5 weeks to be exact).  About 3 or 4 days after being in the NICU Nathan had an apnea spell which was cause for a longer stay. A few days after the first spell he had another one making his stay even longer. Time in the NICU was a total of 11 days. As grateful as we were for modern medicine and technology, it was a rough road. We didn't get to come home without all the gadgets though. He earned himself a dose of "caffeine" everyday and an apnea monitor, of which we get to haul around with us. Peace of mind it does indeed bring, but it will be so nice when we don't have to lug that thing around anymore.:) We are so grateful to have him home and have him healthy.
This was right after we got home from the NICU. This is a premie outfit given to him from Aunt Tanya. We loved it. Too bad it doesn't fit anymore!!

Outfit courtesy of Aunt Shawna!! Another favorite.
Ah, yes, and now Jacob is trying to find his place again in this family. :)
Nana made this quilt for Nathan and Jacob was very disappointed it wasn't for him. He loves Sesame Street. So he fell asleep with it!!
Warren likes to get these random shots. Quite the look I gave him. :)
Great Grandma Smith and Nathan (4 weeks old -ish)

  1. Yay! What a sweet little boy. I really need to come and see you guys! I think about you all the time (every time I drive in or out of the subdivision) and I hope you are doing well. I woke up this morning with a sore throat and am hoping it's just allergies so I can come and visit. Call me sometime! Love you!
